RETURN & REFUND POLICY

At Nandavan, our products are carefully prepared, packed and dispatched for each order. Because many of our products are fragrance-based, personal-use and/or handcrafted products, we generally operate on a no-return and no-refund basis.

Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

1. ALL SALES ARE FINAL

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, all purchases made through the Nandavan website are final.

We do not accept returns or provide refunds merely because a customer:

  • Changes their mind after placing an order;

  • Does not like the fragrance or scent;

  • Does not like the appearance, colour or texture of a product;

  • Finds the fragrance different from their personal expectation;

  • Ordered the wrong product;

  • Ordered the wrong quantity;

  • No longer wants the product;

  • Finds that the product does not suit their personal preference;

  • Purchased the product by mistake; or

  • Changes their mind after the order has been shipped or delivered.

2. NO RETURN OR REFUND FOR PERSONAL PREFERENCE

Our fragrance products may be perceived differently by different individuals.

Fragrance perception can vary depending on personal preference, environment, storage conditions and individual sensitivity to particular fragrance notes.

Therefore, dissatisfaction based solely on personal fragrance preference does not qualify for a return or refund.

3. HANDCRAFTED AND FRAGRANCE PRODUCTS

Some Nandavan products are handcrafted or prepared in  batches.

Minor variations in colour, shape, texture, finish, fragrance intensity or appearance may occur between batches.

Such normal variations do not automatically constitute a defect and are not grounds for return or refund.

4. NATURAL / HANDCRAFTED PRODUCT DISCLOSURE

Nandavan may describe certain products as handcrafted, inspired by traditional practices, or made using selected natural or naturally derived ingredients.

However, unless a product is expressly identified as 100% natural, Nandavan does not represent that its fragrance cones or other products are 100% natural.

Our fragrance cones may contain a combination of materials, including natural or naturally derived ingredients, fragrance/essential-oil components and dipropylene glycol (DPG) or other permitted ingredients used for fragrance formulation and product performance.

Accordingly, our fragrance cones should not be understood or advertised as “100% natural” products.

Customers should review the product description and ingredient information provided for the relevant product before purchasing.

5. DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT ORDERS

Although we do not accept ordinary returns, if you receive a product that is materially defective, damaged in transit, materially different from the product ordered, or otherwise covered by a mandatory consumer remedy under applicable law, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

Please provide:

  • Your order number;

  • Photographs or video of the product and packaging;

  • A description of the issue; and

  • Any other information reasonably requested by us.

We may investigate the issue and, where required under applicable law, provide an appropriate remedy.

6. DELIVERY DAMAGE

Customers should inspect the outer package and product after delivery.

If a package appears materially damaged at the time of delivery, please document the condition of the package with photographs or video and contact us promptly.

Any claim relating to damaged or incorrect goods will be reviewed based on the circumstances and applicable law.

7. WRONG PRODUCT OR MISSING ITEM

If you believe you have received a product different from the product shown in your order confirmation, or an item is missing from your shipment, contact us promptly with your order number and supporting photographs.

We will investigate the issue and take appropriate action where required.

8. REFUNDS

Except where a refund is required under applicable law or is expressly approved by Nandavan following investigation of an eligible issue, Nandavan does not provide refunds for completed purchases.

Where a refund is legally required or approved, the refund will generally be made using the original payment method or another legally permissible method.

Processing time may depend on the payment service provider or financial institution.

9. ORDER CANCELLATION

Orders may be processed for dispatch shortly after being placed.

Once an order has entered processing, preparation, packaging or shipment, cancellation may not be possible.

If you wish to request cancellation, contact us as soon as possible after placing the order. A cancellation request does not guarantee cancellation.

If cancellation is legally required in a particular circumstance, the applicable law will prevail.

10. EXCEPTIONS REQUIRED BY LAW

Nothing in this Return & Refund Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or waive any right, remedy or protection that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Indian law.

Where applicable law requires Nandavan to accept a return, replacement, refund or other remedy, the applicable legal requirement will prevail over this policy.
